Thanksgiving
The day before Thanksgiving the kids work on making Indian vests and headbands to wear for Thanksgiving.
Then we went to Grandma's and made these cute turkeys.
They wear their vests and headbands for Thanksgiving dinner.

Warning: May Be Offensive To Some!!!
The kids went on their first hunting trip today with their Daddy, Grandpa and Uncle! (No the gun is not loaded in this picture I have been told!)
This is the first time they shot a gun that was not a BB gun.

They think they are pretty cool now.

Magic Show
This month at kids club they had a magician come and do a magic show and he chose Big Man to be his assistant for a couple of tricks.
Everyone was very impressed that he could blow up a balloon by himself. They don't realize that for fun he likes to try and blow up balloons and has had a lot of practice! The kids were so impressed with the magic show and they keep trying to do little magic tricks themselves and wonder why I can't change a balloon into a stuffed animal.

A Visit From Great Grandpa
My Dad's Dad aka far away great grandpa came for a visit this week from Missouri. He hasn't been here in a few years and I am pretty sure that the last time he was here Big Man was his only great grandchild. Our family has been popping the babies out pretty quickly the past couple of years and there are two more on the way!

Breech Baby
I had my Dr. appointment today and she has decided to go into a full Frank Breech position with her booty engaged and feet on either side of her head! There is still a lot of time to turn and the midwife gave me some exercises to do to help with the turning. She also said my baby is enormous so she needs to turn soon, so hopefully by the next appointment she will be in the correct position as the thought of a c-section or a breech delivery really stresses me out. I will be 31 weeks tomorrow and the midwife estimated today that she weighs 5 lbs 13 oz. I just don't see how that is possible and am not quite sure that I believe her as I think that is just way too big and that she must be calculating wrong! We will see in 2 weeks if she has decided to cooperate.

Happy Veterans Day!
We went to the parade downtown today. It was our first time at the Veterans Parade, but I think we will go back every year.
There were lots of neat trucks and Army Men.
There were lots of neat trucks and Army Men.
Like most boys, they want to be army men when they grow up. The rest of the day has been spent discussing what they want to do as army men. I have been trying to sway them toward Air Force or Navy as I think they are safer:)

The Big Dog
The boys got an enormous dog went they went to the fair with Far Away Grandma and Little Man refuses to go to sleep without it! I don't know how long we are going to be able to keep it as it takes up so much room, but for now he goes to sleep very nicely as long as he has his dog. (I think he is just the cutest sleeper, too! I take more pictures of him asleep than I do awake!)

More Fun At Grandpa's
My dad has a couple of go-cart frames that he hooked up behind his tractor and took the kids out for a ride. They think that is really cool because then they can steer!

Perplexed
Big Man loves to read fairy tales like Cinderella. So we were reading Cinderella the other day and it was talking about how Cinderella stole the princes heart and for the next couple of pages he has this confused look and I finally ask him what is wrong. He says: How can he still be alive, mom, if he doesn't have a heart. I thought if you didn't have a heart you would be dead? We do have a confusing language:)

Cowboys and Indians
I woke the kids from their nap yesterday (notice the hair!!) to carve pumpkins. I had them carved all ready I just wanted them to clean them out and then think that they carved them. They messed around with the knives for a few minutes and then I stuck my hand in the pumpkin to pop out the face pieces and they thought they did such a good job. Neither one of them would help to clean out the pumpkins, though.
Aren't they cute little cowboys, and aren't those such good looking pumpkins too!
We talked Daddy into getting dressed up with us. It didn't last long, though, and he changed back into regular clothes.
Little Mimi looked so cute in her pink leopard outfit too.
