I think it is safe to say that my exhaustion has set in, along with the fact that I am having a horrible time trying to sleep. My kids have been coming into bed a lot with us lately. I use to be very good about immediately taking them right back to their beds as I cannot sleep with my kids. Lately whenever a kid comes into bed, I just get up and go to the couch or to their bed to sleep! I just don't have the energy to deal with them. I also can't seem to get out of bed until almost 9 in the morning! I am kind of ashamed, but my kids don't wake until usually 8 and they will just play until I get up. Hopefully this passes soon, or I am never going to get anything done!
Even though this isn't my first pregnancy it is still depressing to me that at 11.5 weeks, with my baby only an inch, none of my clothes fit me anymore. Maternity clothes do not look at all good either. It is a good thing I don't have the energy to go very many places, because I have Nothing to wear.
Enough for today, I am going to lay down:)

Waterworld
We went to waterworld today with my neice and mother-in-law, it was SO much fun. The kids had a blast, of course I couldn't take too many pictures of the day since I was in the the water! The kids favorite was the wave pool, they probably would have stayed there all day if we had let them. I didn't know they had so many fun things for kids to do there. We will definitely be going back again.
As soon as we left Little Man passed out, and even now that we have been home for an hour, he is still just laying on the couch relaxing. They are wiped out!

Pom Poms
My kids love playing with these pom poms! This time they played with their kitchen utensils and were making ice cream and tea. Other times they have played with them with their trucks and trains and had the pom poms be their cargo. Then of course there is just the random throwing and making it rain pom poms that is always fun too.

Wooden Race Car
The kids got little wooden race car kits at a birthday party and had been bugging Daddy every day to paint them and put them together. Obviously Big Man had a little more patience and wanted every inch of his race car painted, while little man got distracted after starting to paint! They are cute though and the kids love playing with them and showing them off.

Starting A Band
My niece was over yesterday and all the kids wanted to do was to play music! We don't have many instruments so they started making up their own. I finally decided to play a cd and then have them play along as that sounded just a little bit nicer! They had a blast and thought they sounded great which is all that really matters:)
Swimming Update
I think my kids are finally getting the hang of swimming. This is our 4th week of swimming just about every day, only 2 more to go (Yea!!). Yesterday Bigman floated all by himself, he even laid himself back a couple of times and put himself into the float position. It was pretty exciting since I didn't think he was ever going to learn how to do it! Both kids are able to swim approximately 5 feet unassisted. Their teachers say they are definitely swimming even though they look a little funny and don't move very far. I guess their definition of swimming is just being able to be under water while moving your arms and legs at the same time. Every day they do seem to get a little bit better and we have lots of fun while we practice. I have a feeling, though, that I am going to have to chop off my hair after this summer with all of the chlorine it has been exposed to:(

The Cuddlers...
My kids are going through a cuddle faze. They watched a moving laying on top of each other, and then that night at about midnight when I went to check on them they were both on the floor sleeping in the same position cuddling. At 5 in the morning when I checked on them again (Yes, I don't get much sleep!) they were both back in their beds.

Grossology
Big Man had his monthly class at the Science Center last week. It was all about human grossology (a.k.a. burping, farting, pooping, vomiting etc...) Needless to say he though it was pretty cool. First we went through the new exhibit. This huge nose explains how snot is made.
Here he is trying to shoot balls into a nose to make it sneeze.
This is back in the classroom where he has made snot.
This is a demonstration on why people burp. The teacher put vinegar and baking soda in a bottle and showed how it filled up the balloon. He especially loved this experiment and wants to do it at home every day now.
This is edible earwax and a cotton ball made out of marshmallows and toothpicks. The favorite take home toy of the day, though, was a whoopie cushion, which has been getting a lot of use!

What Heat???
When we got home from swimming my kids wanted to play outside when it was 113 degrees outside. The heat does not seem to phase them. Even the neighbor kids were playing outside. I wouldn't care so much except then I have to sit outside too, and the heat really affects me!
FYI don't ever own pine trees or live next to anyone that does or else your yard looks like this just hours after it was all cleaned up!

10 Weeks
Tomorrow I will be 10 weeks pregnant. I ordered a doppler and got it in the mail today and got to hear the heartbeat! The kids were waiting for the baby to talk, though, they don't quite get what the big deal is about listening to the heart beat. Big Man's picks for names this week include Treedog and Doghouse. Not quite sure what his dog obsession is. When he refers to the baby he also always says Our baby. According to him it is definitely not just Mommy's and Daddy's baby:)

We Made It Home
I still can't walk but at least we are home! I am hopeful that I will be better tomorrow, though.
It was pretty cute tonight after I put Big Man to bed I kept checking on him and he was just staring at the ceiling. I told him to close his eyes and go to sleep because he was very tired (and cranky!) He said but I can't close my eyes because I have bad eye drool. It took me a second and then I thought that is an interesting way to describe it:)

Our Day In Pictures
I went through my friends camera and pulled pictures off of the kids.
Right before dinner a blue bird came by the campsite. I guess they do walks and have activities for kids after dark. My kids are asleep by dark so that doesn't work for us though. Amazingly my kids get this dirty every day camping in Dogtown. They are never this dirty anywhere else, but it sure makes me thankful for our outside shower on the trailer.
Mister Crabby
Digging holes and avoiding looking at the camera.
There are 2 nurses camping with us so I am well taken care of with my duct taped ankle!

Dogtown Lake Vacation
So we came up to Dogtown Lake yesterday to camp for our annual Father's Day Camping trip with some friends and family. As soon as we got to the campground I realized that I had bought the wrong battery for my camera so I have no camera:( I feel like I am walking around naked I am so used to carrying it everywhere with me.
Then this morning we went up to the lake and walked around a good portion of it when the dog pulled me hard and I took a little tumble. My ankle popped in 2 places and now I cannot put any pressure on it at all. I kept it elevated for a couple of hours while the kids and hubby fished and then attempted to put some pressure on it but that was not happening. So the hubby had to hold on to the dog leash carry 4 chairs, the fishing rods, the bag of food and a bag of fishing gear and support me and practically carry me the 2 blocks back to the Suburban while keeping an eye on the kids and helping them up the hills! What a guy:)
This is the 3rd time I have sprained this ankle, but this one seems to hurt far worse than before. When we finally made it back to the trailer I looked at my phone and saw that it was Friday the 13th. I decided right then and there that I am not getting out of bed again today. I have someone bringing up some crutches for me and I am putting ice on it. I guess if it is still swollen and I can't put pressure on it tomorrow I may have to go to town and see if I can't find some sort of a splint.
At least the kids are having fun playing with their cousin in the dirt with monster trucks and they caught a crawdad at the lake that they have been playing with as well. They thought it was pretty funny when I fell down and now they are making themselves fall down and then they laugh and say I'm just like Mommy!

I Knew They Loved Each Other!
When we were getting ready to leave this morning, Big Man pushed his booster seat over so that he could sit next to Little Man and put out his hand and said I just wanted to hold hands. So they held hands and watched a movie as we ran errands! This week they have been fighting like crazy over everything so I thought that their sudden love was pretty funny when 10 minutes earlier they were screaming because the other one was touching him.

How Can They Eat So Much?
I can all ready tell that I am going to go broke buying food for the boys. Tonight Big Man ate 3 very full tacos and a pear and told me that he was still hungry. That is more than I ate and the same amount that the hubster ate! He must be going through a growth spurt or something because all I hear from him is that he is hungry:)

A Trip To Tolmachoff Farms
Tolmachoff Farms had their Family Fun Day today. The kids got to see all sorts of animals, tractors and farmers.
They had duck races witht the water pumps. My kids lost big time!
What would a day on the farm be without the big bin of corn to play in?
Then they took a train ride and picked some vegetables to take home.

Why Did I Have To Open My Mouth???
Yesterday at swimming I was talking to Little Man's teacher waiting for Big Man to finish up when we began talking about kids and vomiting. I made the comment that I have been pretty lucky as my kids hardly ever throw up and they haven't for a long time. Fast Forward to 4a.m. Big Man starts letting out blood curling screams saying his tummy hurts. Needless to say I have been up since cleaning up puke and diarrhea. Why Why Why did I have to say anything!!!

Little Man's Annoying Habits
I cannot seem to keep Little Man's finger out of his nose! I have even caught him in the middle of the night with his finger up his nose and I could not get him to take it out. Along with the finger up his nose he also keeps putting his underwear on backwards and pulling them up as far as he can! He even puts his shorts on backwards. I have tried showing him how to do it correctly, but he wants to see the characters on his underwear. I don't really care that much though, as long as he dresses himself that is all that really matters to me!

Swimming Has Begun
We swim at the city pool in the summer, I do think we live by one of the best city pools around as they have a full sized toddler pool that is 2.5 feet deep that the kids love to play in. This summer they raised the rates for lessons, though. I had to pay $48 for both kids to have lessons every day for a month. Last month it was only $24 for the month! Oh well, I still think that is a steal. So if you want to know where we are every afternoon from 4-5:30 we are at the pool!

Today's Mission
This is just a small sampling of how messy my house is today! Multiply this by 5, for the 5 rooms the kids play in and that is how much I have to clean today. Along with cleaning the bathrooms and making dinner for my entire family that is coming over tonight. Needless to say I am procrastinating and just want to go back to bed.

Baby Names
Big Man: Mom what are we going to name the baby?
Me: I have no idea, what do you like?
Big Man: I like Alligator.
Me: How about Alli? I like that name.
Big Man: No Mom, that's where you take the garbage.
Why yes it is!
The kids definitely think that the baby is their's too...
Grandma had asked Big Man what was in his Mommy's tummy he replied:
A baby, and we are going to keep it forever because it is our baby!
He is too cute sometimes.
